About Us

Epidemiology is research into the causes, natural history and characterisation of diseases and conditions at the clinical or population level, based upon observational studies, either with primary de novo data collection or using secondary, existing datasets. The term excludes purely basic ‘lab’ research and interventional studies in general, most notably clinical trials.

The Centre will consider epidemiological research within any clinical or health areas and seeks collaboration across a wide range of groups.
